Make styling and storage a breeze with the Amazing Hair Extensions Clip Hanger! This handy accessory is designed to simplify your routine, allowing you to easily brush, style, and even wash your extensions while they're securely clipped in place. When you're done, just hang them up neatly to prevent tangles and maintain their perfect shape. We want your extensions to look incredible for as long as possible. Proper care is key! We highly recommend using our Amazing Hair After Care range for the best results.
Your Washing Ritual:
- Prep: Gently detangle dry extensions from ends to weft using your Amazing Hair Biodegradable Brush. Lay flat.
- Wash: Fill a sink with lukewarm water and a 10-cent piece size of Amazing Hair Shampoo. Holding one extension piece at the top, gently submerge and wash with the direction of the hair. Don't rub.
- Condition: Lightly towel-dry. Apply Amazing Hair Conditioner generously to mid-lengths and ends. Leave for 5-10 minutes.
- Mask (Deep Nourishment): After rinsing conditioner, apply Amazing Hair Mask evenly. Leave for 20-30 minutes. Please Note: Amazing Hair Masks are NOT recommended for synthetic hair as they can weigh down the fibres.
- Rinse: Thoroughly rinse under cool water until all product is removed.
- Dry: Gently squeeze excess water. Apply Amazing Hair Serum (one pump is often enough) to mid-lengths and ends. Crucially, don't air dry. Use a hairdryer on low-medium heat, drying in a downward motion. Finish with an extra touch of Amazing Hair Serum.
How Often to Wash: Wash only when needed, or when you notice product build up or difficulty styling. Extensions don't receive natural scalp oils, so they don't need frequent washing.
Important Considerations:
- Gentle Handling: Always handle your extensions with care to prevent unnecessary friction and tangling.
- Storage: When not wearing your extensions, store them in a cool, dry place, ideally in their original packaging or hanging, to maintain their shape and prevent tangles.
- Sleeping: Always remove your temporary extensions before sleeping. They aren't designed for overnight wear and can cause tangling or strain on your natural hair.
- Swimming: Do not swim with your extensions in. Chlorinated and saltwater can severely dry and damage them (and synthetic fibres). It's best to remove your extensions before entering the water.
- Heat Styling: Your extensions can be styled with heat tools (curlers, straighteners, blow dryers) just like your natural hair. Always apply Amazing Hair Serum or a high-quality heat protector. Don't exceed 185 degrees.
- Colouring (Human Hair): While Human Hair extensions can often be coloured, we strongly advise against it as it can compromise the hair's integrity and void your warranty. If you choose to colour, it must be done by a professional experienced in colouring extensions.
- Colouring (Synthetic Hair): Synthetic hair cannot be coloured or dyed. Any attempts to do so will result in irreversible damage.
